B16a timing belt will fit to b16b? Also the tensioner bearing are they the same sa the b16a & b16b. Anyone can confirm. tnx..

is a b16a not a shorter block? thought the b16b was a destroked b18c6,

b16b and b18c6 timing belts are the same i know that much,,

The b16a belt is different to the belt for the b16b ! and it's a different part number as well !

The honda part number for the ek9 b16b belt is :14400-P72-014 . :nice:

I heard the same! the b16b is the same as the integra type r b18c

the main dealers have got a deal on at the moment the change the cambelt and brake fluid 4 £200! i doant know if its the same nation wide but I'm getting mine done on Friday 4 that price!

the b16a an b16b timin belts are def dif!!the b16b timin belt is a bit longer...id imagine the tensioner is the same tho.

Just got a cambelt fitted at a main Honda dealer on Friday! They had a problem getting a cambelt 2 fit my engine! they got an original b16b cambelt but it didn't fit! then they tried a cambelt out of integra type R b18c but it was 1 notch to big! thought they wore soposto to be the same! the only on that fitted was a b20b out of CR-V just wondering if some body else had this cambelt fitted?

the belt of the b18c is the same as the b16b...i dunno wat ur main dealer was thinkin...they must have had an apprentice mechanic workin on ur car or somethin

B16B cambelt is exactly the same as the B18C cambelt, it has the same part number in Japan specs.

so therefore ask for a UK ITR cambelt.
