B16b has shavings around valve springs

Hello everyone, I have a b16b with just bolt ons and upgrade fuel system and just did a valve cover gasket change and noticed that there are markings on my walls around the valve springs, I don't know if it's bad or not, car is parked for winter never heard no noise of ticking everything sounds good. Would like to some help please!! Thanks for your time!!

Possibly where something has been fitted before and scratched the head, just the way the marks look to me thats all

Found the same kind of marks on a few b series heads. The original cast is pretty crude in those areas from factory

to me that looks like someones got rid of the casting marks with a rotary tool

i have to do the same thing with the valve cover's before painting

i also got that mark when replace valve seal using player.

The cast marks have shaven at the factory when new. As stated perfectly normal.

Yea perfectly normal just rough cast removal from
The factory see it everyday in work
