He there,
I just recently swapped my EK9 to an B18C-R. The new engine is a real good one (for as far as i can see) It doesn't use any oil. Realy nothing. It runs very smooth and thara are no weird sounds. I am running it on the stock 2000ITR map that comes with the Hondata S300. Also i have a Mugen twinloop, Vision Decat, Toda header, Mugen airbox and a hondata imf gasket, NGK HT leads, PLX SM-AFR module and a Bosch Wideband newly purchased 6 months ago.
The thing is that i have had pretty high fuel usage, 20 miles to the galon or 7.5 km every liter, on the B16B and now on the B18C-R. I was thinking it could be a faulty Wideband sensor but the hondata gives a near perfect AFR. im not driving the car on its limits every mile btw... just normal running with the occasional vtec
What steps are to be taken to check what could cause this?
Any ideas are appreciated.
