B series Mounts!!! only 3 needed?

Dropping in a b18 into my ek4... do I really need the front tranny and "ac" engine mounts? Can I get away with just the three main mounts? Thanks everyone in advance for the input!
 
I only run 3 mounts but they are upgraded mounts, i would NOT run 3 mounts alone if they are OEM mounts.
 
yeah i would advise you get some solid mounts such as hasport? the engine will shake all over the place with oem mounts........
 
Yes... and im planning on using "innovative" mounts with the "track" bushings... thanks a lot guys
 
Donot rock 3 oem mounts, this will leave the engine with excessive play. Seen a B16 EJ drag launch on this setup and the valve cover dented the hood. Not a good idea on oem mounts.

No way!!! No bueno! Hahahaha yeah aftermarket fo sho! Thanks everyone!
 
I run 3 OEM mounts with the torque mounts removed. Just fitted poly inserts to the 3 OEM ones and the engine is solid!
