Thanks everyone

As for your faded quarters, I would assume they are faded from uv damage so more than likely it will bring back up after a good machine polish. Don't quote me on that it is difficult to say without seeing the car itself, but 9 times out of 10 it normally requires a polish

How much would a correction/polish typically cost for a civic (or similar sized car) in this condition?

For an ek9 or similar sized in the same condition you're roughly talking £550+, only due to the condition. Gav's car has honestly been the worst I've dealt with the reason being, so much deep scratches that required multiple hits to removed them. But if it was a normal civic with general swirling and light scratches probably about £500 minus 10% for ek9 members. You're local (ish) to me so if you're ever near cambuslang drop by for a quote

You'd be surprised how much it lifts off esp when you think the car is already clean!!
