Took a few phoos last night with a decent camera, shows the colour a little bit better

And on the way home i was behind my mate and the front end is now covered in stone chips, not bad 5 days

Done a little bit more last week



Few crappy pics of my rear type R splitter fitted, what a bitch to fit. But its on, and i think it completes it now just need to get my exhaust to fit properly again!

For the last 18'months my secondary oxy sensor has had crappy wiring, so every now and then the EML would come on, saying it was misfiring on all 4, but ran fine, so finally bought one yesterday and fitted it. I reset the ecu and took it for a spin and it seemed a little bit better (bumdyno) but on the way back home the EML popped back up, checked it and it was catalyst system efficiency, gutted! So im thinking replace the front one and hopefully will sort itself out :dunno:

On the weekend we had a bit of nice weather so washed the car, gave it a good polish with the rotary and put a bit of wax on, she was gleaming.. For a day

It's home for the week

my dash lights have never worked along with my indicator lights on the dash so i started with them, wiring isnt my strongest point lol, but i had a bash anyway and i did it, yay go me! But to do so it was dash out job, and theres alot of wires behind it

I did toy with the idea of taking the heaters out and leaving the dash out, but thought i'd keep them in for the winter :agree:

As the car had an airbag it doesnt have the horn connector so i had to put a button on the dash, for months its just been stuck on with electrical tape, but now fitted into the dash

Relocated my radio

I had a bit of window tint lying around so i thought i'd give it a try, this is my first ever attempt of window tinting

Came out really good considering, but the second window i actually cleaned the window first and it came out even better

Fitted my fog lights

Finally got rid of the cable ties that were holding my fusebox on and welded a plate in and bolted it to it

Under the bonnet was looking a bit boring since i got rid of the heineken can so my air box got some treatment

Bought a TRS harness, so fitted that too :agree:

Little update, i needed 4 new tyres so i bought some buddyclub p1's with 4 new tyres fitted, i have always loved these wheels but now i own them, i don't think they look so great, but it might have something to do with them being 17's

So now the worst of the winter is over (hopefully) im buying some tyres for my old wheels and now sold the p1's

For a while i've been having my EML come on saying i have a misfire on all 4 cylinders and was told that it was my valve clearances so i did that but 1700miles later back on so i replaced the rather tired dizzy cap and rotor arm

After fitting i took it for a spin and my brake pad fell out of the caliper :| so had to fit new pads, wheel bearing and bottom ball joint

Also i'd finally had enough of my 2.25" ebay special exhaust that i bought "for now" when i built it so i bought a 3" system off my mate, but it was off an eg so need a slight bit of modification

Finally my h-swap driveshafts have given up! When accelerating hard the whole car was vibrating really vicious, so check the shafts and there was alot of play in them. When i bought them (2years ago) they were rated at 600whp, just gone to look at them now on the website and they are rated at 250bhp lol. So they were obviously having problems with them! I didnt take many photos of them as my hands were covered in cv grease, but heres what fell out..

I only did the drivers side as the outer cv i had for passenger side was a bit fooked so i'll fit that next weekend. But even with one sorted the car feel's loads better, wierdly the brakes/steering feel alot more responsive.

Also fitted some clear side repeaters and my old wheels back on, OMG the federals in the wet are a million times
Better than the toyos!!
