Ap Dixcel FCR discs

I have recently bought a set of discs and Ferodo ds2500 pads. Whilst replacing my rear calipers today, i noticed that i don't actually have the manual for the Ap brakes and was wondering whether someone could tell me which way the slots are suppose to be facing.

facing forward for more agressive bite, or facing rearward for less agressive and increased pad life
 
yeah i remember dixon saying it works both ways, obviously 1 way works better but more wear
 
I have mine facing forwards (FCR's on the front, plains on the rear) and they're great.

I remember now that Tom put them on forward mate, was on way to work last night, not thinking clearly!
