i bought an ek9, registration number R952OWT, anyone know the previous owner?
 
Did you buy the car in the UK and take it back to Malta?
 
i seem to recognise the number plate, pretty sure i've seen it on here at some point...
 
There's a car up in the FS section with a very similar registration mark - thought it was this one, but having checked it isnt.

As above.. get examining!
 
Yes that does look familiar, may have been one of mine. I exported a couple out there.

yes i brought it to malta. its a jdm ek9. The cluster is in kmh but when the needle is for example on 60kmh i'll actually be doin 60mph. I would like to know what exactly did he do. When i opened the bonnet and took a look to the speed sensor, it had the wires joined and the wires kept goin through the firewall behind the cluster. I didn't disconect the cluster from the place though. I would like to bring back to kmh, anyone can help me what should i do please mates?
 
and when i saw it for sale it had saying 200bhp. When i bought it and opened the hood, all i saw was a tenzo induction, iridium spark plugs and with no cat. That should'nt do 200 bhp!! On the valve cover has a sticker of skunk2 and underneath the hood has one of mfactory
 
Has it got a different flywheel? An aftermarket ecu? exhaust? 200bhp sounds too much! I found this here, I assume you take the chip and 4 wires off to take it back to KmH, but don't quote me on it. I'm sure someone will be able to advise shortly
 
stock ecu, mugen twin loop exhaust except the manifold because it is still stock, no cat, i think the flywheel is still stock i assume, tenzo r induction.
 
when somebody says "200 bhp" they are just guessing or telling lies in general.

with the mods you mentioned its prob around the stock 185bhp if the engine has been well serviced etc.

a stock ek4/ek9 airbox would be a good move.

X2 some pics might help jog peoples memorys. cant really tell u a lot with out seeing it
 
the stickers and rear hook was made when came in Malta......
