Anyone have the Eibach sportline springs?

Spek9 sent his off a while ago but don't think he's heard anything yet. I only got round to taking mine off, hopefully they should be sent off this week to get tested for faults. I asked for a refund, Acessory zone mentioned the best they could offer at the moment was in store credit. I actually wanted to order a few items but now been told I have to wait for the springs to be tested for the in store credit aswel. Hmm, not very happy.

I sent mine off ages ago and have emailed accessory zone loads of times, Chris was replying at the start then after a few emails I had no reply. After this a guy named Alan reply'd to me telling me that he did not know why Chris did not reply and that eibach had the springs and were testing them this week, I then emailed him on Wed asking what the outcome was and now I have still not heard back from him this time!

This has been going on for a long time now and I feel like im just being messed about. I ended up buying another set of springs as I would not buy eibach again, and my car lowered correctly straight after installing them as they should! All I am asking is for a refund for parts that were sold to me and clearly faulty.

I will update with the outcome from Accessoryzone and post new pics of my car lowered properly

Correct, I recieved store credit. Eibach did not accept liability so store credit was all that accessoryzone could offer.

I then fitted a set of neuspeed race springs and they lowered the car perfectly as they should:nice:

Mine were only sent back recently and are currently being test by Eibach to find whether they're faulty or not. Most likely they won't be found faulty so I will be issued store credit.

Eibach have never done a kit for the EK9, these have never been tested on one so the quoted 45mm drop on the sportline kit could be totally different on a 9. This kit has only ever been tested for 96-00 2/4 door us civics - does anyone know if they are any different to uk spec?

would front springs on the back not raise it up even higher?

old trick (maybe not the safest or most comfortable lol) was to put the standard rear springs in the front for a big drop. think its because their softer and arent meant to hold the weight of the engine.

the rear oem are shorter man and softer so thats y lol. gives and awsome drop tho.
i wouldnt use lowering springs since i moved to coilovers

Its all been covered in the last 10 pages dude......

My springs were sent back a while ago they should have been tested by now, accessory zone seem to be ignoring my e mails

Extremely disappointed with accessory zone. They seem to be ignoring my emails:mad:

What's the deal with these, are people still having problems fitting them and also is the rear still sitting too high?

It's just I'm contemplating flogging my coilovers and getting some OEM shocks with Eibach springs.

I was doing some reading last night on what springs go best with the OEM shocks and I've read so far that Spoon Progressive Springs seem very good. Eibach are renowned for making excellent springs but I wouldn't buy them if they only lowered the front and not the rears.

Can anyone advise?

Thanks.

Cheers guys.

From what I've read the Pro-kit doesn't sit quite right on an EK9 where as it does on an EK4, is this correct?

If it was to look like your Silver one I'd be happy with that. Might try and source some OEM shocks if I can.

Where's the best place to get the Eibach's from, Motorsport World maybe??

Thanks

Ah i'm not sure about how they sit on 9's mate, they sit fine on my EJ9. A friend has the pro kit on EK9 shocks and they're fine.

I'm pretty sure SW Motorsports can supply them, and they're really nice guys too.

Here's my Flickr, have a look if you want any more pictures of how the car sits Flickr: Rippu_Duggal's Photostream

:nice:

I thought that Eibach made springs just for the EK9 and the OEM shocks that are on the EK9. thought...
