Anyone have the Eibach sportline springs?

yeah the wheel/tyre size does make alot of difference in the arch gap. Yeah I wish went for coilovers too! but performance and ride comfort wise these are pretty good springs.

Ye i've read a lot of good feedback for the comfort and performance, just seems that a few people diddn't ge the right drop. Ahwel i'll know when they're fitted:nice:

Would having 16's instead of 15's really make that much difference in arch gap?

I am looking through the pc for a pic of my wifes old civic it was on sportlines with 16's.

With 16's it does help fill the gap up. I will find that pic and post it up in a few.

First pic is my old Si in the usa. Sitting on 16's with eibach sportlines and tokico illumina shocks.

this pic is the wife's civic on the same 16's. ( I got an upgrade she got the old wheels) Its also on sportlines with tokico Illimina shocks.

I'd be happy with that drop! Sits perfect thanks for the pics. vk9 get some 16's man ;)

Wheel size makes jack all difference, be it 15" 16" or 17" as the correct tyre size would near enough equal it out, almost.
Clearly something is wrong with YOUR springs, as recently discovered a few other members have this problem too.

Civic Luke's Em1 on Eibach Sportline -50mm (195/50/15) - Zero arch gap.

This Is Dan's
EJ9, Eibach Pro Kit -35mm (205/50/16) - The larger profile tyre is filling the arch gaps on this one.

What do you have to say to that?

The front has 195/45/15's and the back has 195/55/15. Not sure how much the gap is. but I wish it was lower on the front .

There does seem to be a big difference in your drop compared to the blue coupe, where did you buy your eibach sportlines vk9? Are you 100% sure that they are made for your car and fitted correctly? seems to sit a bit high at the front any reason? cheers

I got them off accessory zone , yeah there definalty the correct ones... I think the reason it sits so high on the front is because im running 195/45/15 which is the wrong tyre size :( .... im pretty sure the springs have settled as i fitted them back in mid december? imo the correct tyre size + bigger wheels will make a difference in arche gap ..... but the front arch gap does annoy me big time!

What do you have to say to that?

Well I am running the incorrect tyre size for my car , but yeah I agree the correct tyre size and imo bigger wheels will make a difference for me ...

What do you think is wrong with the springs ? The handling and ride comfort is spot on

Ross.c bought the eibach sportlines and he had no drop at all. Since then i've heard of a few cases in which this has happened. I certainly won't be happy if these don't drop my car 50mm all round. Bon87, would you happen to know where luke bought his springs from?

I think I've figured out why the arch gap on the front of my car is quite big ... it appears that the end of the spring isn't sat in the lil notch bit of the shocks ( its about 2 cm out) :nerv: ... I think I need to refit ??

Have you cheked all four? Which ones seem to be out by 2cm? :nerv:

just the front 2 , im hoping if its sat in the notch it'll give the 50mm drop !

Could be, did you fit it yourself? Get the person who fit them to refit :))

I did em myself at college :nerv: i'll have to re do them :angry2:
