Hi

I've been looking at these and thinking that they should work especially on a forced induction application.

Has anybody fitted 1 and noticed any difference?

Any information or advise would be appreciated.

Thanks Simon

Never even heard of em? Are they supposed to add power or wat?

It isnt a waste of money depending on the setup

The spacer is commonly used on K20's to increase the intake plenum volume.

If this worked that well then wouldn't the likes of skunk2 or spoon incorporate this into the throttle body's that they spent thousands researching and developing?

Unbranded, no before/after dyno graphs as evidence of this 'performance increase' it gives. I'm sceptical..

I've seen ones which attach to intakes to increase the turbulence of air.. But nothing like this

There is evidence. Evidence as in, it's rubbish.

I looked in to these before, and someone did a test on a mustang i think, and they worked out for it to actually make any difference it would need to be a metre long iirc.

Only real way to find out is to buy one get to the dyno, do a few runs, fit it then do a few more runs.

A friend had a throttle body spacer on his 350z, it was supposed to make a difference.
