im looking at upgrading my anti role bars front and rear on my em1 im a firm belever of if your going to upgrading something go balls out and iv bin looking at the ASR 32mm Hollow Rear Anti-Roll Bar And Subframe Brace Kit for the rear has any one had any experience with this upgrade and dose any one have any suggestions for the front anti role bar ?

stock em1 slowly replacing all the suspension i have bc coilover on atm

Im running that same front ARB and I love it.
The rear I am running the ASR solid bar. They match up very well with the right spring rates and coil overs. You may want to start there before going to the race spec ASR. They are hard core for sure.

ye i dont like buying things twice so i have a habit of going balls out and getting somthing that probably a bit more than i need so i dont have to replay it in 6 moths lol

the race spec one dose look hard core tho would be somthing nice to look at under my car on a sunday afternoon when im tinkering

I use an ASR brace and a DC2 rear anti roll bar on my em1 dude. Much better from standard oem!

I know what you mean. I bet you would not need the hard core version unless you are at a pro level. Go for it if this is what you want and need, nothing wrong with it.

thanks for the input guys just need to finish the suspention so i can move onto brakes and bracing

Are you kidding me!
There is no better and worse, only different setups. If you want a hideously unsafe oversteering car go ahead!

Would you willy nilly replace electronic components in your tv?

Lol, ^^^funny but true.
Sometimes tho people wont listen or read, just go get what they think is best and end up regretting it later. Seems this person is after looks, but who looks under the car? :drive:

This. You are underestamating the effect of the rear ARB.

I am listning to you guys thats why i posted this and dident just go and by it so what set up would a car need for that arb and also threw your experiance what thickness ARB would you guys say is best for agressive street/ track

I have a friend who dose stock car racing for a living but he wants yo get my car on scales and way every corner to find out whatthockness ARB i need and what spring racio i need for each corner but i never have time to do it because of work

Im not in the greatest of moods - so could have been more polite, but modding is serious business. A mistake with brakes, suspension or safety restraints can kill you.

What I always say is dont modify part of a sysyem, you must lok at the whole system. In this case a mental rear arb should be matched to the equivalent (even bigger) front. Then ideally you would adjust spring rates and damper settings on a track to balance the car. Stiffer arb counts as more spring which means less grip. The ek9 has one to make the car neutral compared to an understeery ek3. This honda bar is probably all the upgrade you need.

Thanks for the imput my car is pritty flat round corners but still get understeer at times iv look a few times at ek9 arb for the front of my em1 but some sites say they wont fit which confuses me a bit and iv hurd of peope putting itr arb's front and back are these a strate fit or would modifacation be needed
