abunai civic (present)

I bought a used valve cover cleaned and welded two -12AN fittings.
This mod will help with the ventilation of the engine at high rpms
the extra small holes that i opened to the baffling of the valve cover helps with venting too.
Determing the color was hard but i finally went with a classic vivid red color.
Some carbon vinil sticker to the spark plug cover will make things look better :))
gonna fit this later...

first thing after i got back the car was to replace the valvespring retainers
a critical part that can fail and most owners ignore.
i know at least 5 cars that had destroyed engines or their cylinderheads due to a broken retainer.

since my engine had over 100.000km that was a must to do !

also desided to relpace LMA's with newer spring type.
a vtec filter was an easy task at the end of the day...

collected most parts from honda a euroexport spring compressor and a 10mm wrench that i bended to help me with the valve lash adjustment.

thanks man
since you will remove cams deff go for it !
retainers are cheap motor insurance.
just give a look at s2000 forums the weak point on these high revving motors are the retainers.

i was planning to use an rfm copy header since this header hits on oem fan i bought a used spal one for cheap.
then made a shroud i used ugly bolts instead of rivets but later i'm gonna fix a better one.

sold the j's racing intake so i can buy a chipped p28 ecu and a convertion harness from hammotosports.
then made a new intake using a 3,5'' - 89mm pipe,a vibrant velocity stack, aem dryflow filter, dei gold heat reflect tape and some silicon couplers.
the new intake performed better at top end and was simmilar as the j's at mid range.
also total cost for the custom intake was lot cheaper than the j's racing.
but anyway i ended spending more money on parts lol

a good friend lost his b20 vtec so i bought from him his full exhaust .
rmf 4-1 replica header & 70mm exhaust with fake cat cel.

gave all parts a good clean & polish then
i used a dremel to clean the ugly welds off the header and maybe make it to perform better.

rmf header had bad ground clearance and exhaust had some metal bits and oil from the broken b20 we realised that when started it at my car for first time lol
