Ok, I was playing around with Mfactory's calculator just to see where my setup was at compared to stock and also get some ideas for future mods to my gearbox.
As I input 4.4FD 8400rpm vs 4.785FD 9000rpm, I noticed that top speed had recovered a fair bit to compensate for the loss of top speed from the 4.785FD.
I mean, most of us have 9000rpm from generic/custom ECUs etc.
1. So, what does that graph tell us exactly?
2. Does the gap between the 2 lines mean the amount of acceleration we gained?
3. More power band? The Pink line I drew is at 6000rpm so we can see the difference in top end.
