I want to buy the following strutbar:

Honda%20EK%20front%203p.jpg

What I'm wondering is on which cars it will fit. It's made for an EK/EJ, but all manufacturers of 3point struts say something different about it. Some say they fit on all 3 models, but this specific one, is listed only in the EK/EJ section and not in the EG section. Who knows more about this?

I have this bar, on the barcode it has Honda Civic EG/EK Integra DC2, would presume it fits whats listed. If you do get one, when you install it you have to drop your shocks down so the brace can clear the top hat studs :D

So on the strut is written/printed that it fits EG, EK and DC2?

And if you have one, what's your experience with it? If I see it, I think it isn't that much worse than a Password JDM one. And certainly a lot better than those shabby struts with hinges. Do you have other Ultra Racing braces? I'm thinking of buying the 3point front strut, 4point rear strut and the 3point fender braces.

they fit eg, ek and dc apparently

ive looked at different 3 point struts and am going for this 1 (should have ordered few weeks ago but doing bit more research), i have heard fitment isnt perfect but not hard to get on

fender brace is nice as tubular rather than most others which are flat bar so better in function terms, most users say doors end up sitting little of but can be put almost perfect with careful re alignment

i also like rear bar as solid piece

other 3 points

carbing (very expensive)
rigid (discontinued i think)
password copied above
benen do nice good value bar in usa but i think that bolts to oem strut points and not shock turrets like better bars do such as above

jt, where are you buying them from ?

There is an Ebay shop with competitive prices and there is a Dutch shop that has them for reasonable prices. But still a bit more expensive and it is said it can take up to a couple of months to order...

Password one you do have to move the AC line over to make it fit right. Password bars also fit EG. EK. DC2 though as well.

We will have TEGIWA 3 point braces on sale from 9th Nov
They will be £140 delivered to NL - and will look the same as Carbing

fitted my ultra racing front and rear braces yesterday, fit perfect (holes are elongated to accomdate movement in different chassis etc)

the front tripod allows you to keep oem strut as well if you desire

note - i dont have air con

if i drop the shocks down to fit the bar, does that mean i have to get wheel alignment afterward? i finding hard to fit mine at the moment

if your just droppin shocks alignment will be fine, you have to drop shocks to fit this
