At £3600 surprised this hasn't sold yet. Very cheap, as Rippu can confirm this car pulls very well, right up to the red line. Still has 185+ healthy jap horses. Someone on the forum should buy it and make it mint:)

Easy way to do it.. i drive the EK9 up to scotland. There we do a deal where cash is passed about between me yourself and mark, some forms are signed, an EK9 comes home to scotland :win: and a Glanza V finds its new home in England :woot: And the cars remain in the hands of forum members :cool:

haha, ah as much as i'd love to I have to resist man, still have a lot of work to do to the pulsar before selling it etc and dont wanna waste your time so i'll say i'm out for now, but someone will defo take it at that price !
Oh and you better still come to Glasgow and party ;)

To the chaps waiting for pm replies with pictures. ill be cleaning the car tomorrow and will make sure i have all the pictures that have been requested.. Lets hope the weather is still ok tomorrow... :cool:

Cars looking good Chris. Rust isn't actually that bad, with both arches sorted and the bumper sprayed this would be a cracking Black EK9! Hope this sells to someone off the forum....

asif, when you owned the car, did you speak to a guy who buys EK9's on Pistonheads.. I thought i'd give him a call yesterday, he said he knew the car and had spoken to you when you had it. He told me you were happy to accept 1900 for it but he would offer me a little more... His final offer was 2500... LMFAO what a complete joker..
 
LOL, sounds like a nugget. Never spoke to him once. Why would I accept 1900 for an EK9. Complete joker, should have strung him along a bit lol. This cars worth £4000 all day long, Tophers been v honest about the car. Too guy. U shld fire it on PH Chris. Might get some time wasters as I did but worth a try.
 
Rust isn't as bad as I thought from what you've said.

Anyone have any idea what this would cost to put right?
 
If i get time this week i'll pop into a couple of body shops on my lunch break, and ask them what sort of cost will be involved. :)

Have seen much worse. Costs involved won't be too much, mainly labour and painting. Parts won't be expensive, just need to find a good bodyshop and its good as new.

Car would be easily fixed up cheaper than buying a expensive fresh import.

I was originally quoted around £250 per arch on my nine but that was over the phone so was only a guide price but I can't see it costing much more than that.

Will be a mint bargain car once it's sorted tho GLWS!
 
If I could sell the Clio straight away and the insurance was cheaper I would have this in a heartbeat! Goo luck mate you deserve that much at least
 
U Wld prob be looking at £200-250 per rear quarter. Maybe a bit less. But once the rust is sorted it is indeed a very decent EK9
