Mileage - 120,000 Miles.
TAX - Full 6 months
M.O.T - till February 2013

I am selling my EK9, i know its a sad time but i simply can't afford to treat it the way it should be treated.

I will start with the bad parts:

The car has very slight rust on the rear arches at the back ( i have pictures of this )
the paint is bubbling slightly around the arch. Nothing that can't be fixed.

This should cost about £250 per side. ( average price estimate from a few different body shops


Basically the car is mechanically sound, Pulls like a train and has never asked me for ANYTHING at all. Nothing !!! if you had £1000 to throw at it for body work the car's body work would look amazing.

Wheels have very slight curb marks on the front.. the back are very clean.

This was all replaced when i bought the car which was back in november of 2011.

*Front ARB droplinks
*Front ARB bushes
*Front Track rod ends
*Front upper suspension arms including bushes and balljoints
*Front lower balljoints
*Front OS wheel bearing kit
*Rear NS wheel bearing kit
*Rear OS wheel bearing kit
*Front brake pads
*Rear brake pads
*Wheel alignment corrected
*Brand new OEM battery
*New OEM Honda Timing Belt and Tensioner.
* 4 x Uniroyal Rain sport 2's all balanced.. will check the tread but look pretty deep to me.

*Engine coolant flush & pure refill
*NGK Plugs
*NGK uprated HT leads
*Oil filter/washer and Fuchs/Titan Pro-S oil
*Amsoil MTF transmission fluid
*Whale ***** Intake
*Wheels sandblasted and powdercoated in CW

since then i have done a few things to it.

I put brand new nuts and bolts and gaskets on the exhuast ( cat,bpipe and back box )
I have fitted a FEEL'S low position seat rail for the drivers seat. Nice and rare piece of kit and it FEEL'S great to drive with it.
i also had to add a fog light for the M.O.T :p

car has always been run on V power and i always wait for it to be at middle temperature for 5 minutes before engaging VTEC.. also i cool it down by letting it tick over n my drive for 5 minutes before switching off.

All parts are either OEM, or Honda supplied By Simauto or Chatham Honda :)

Other Features are:-

*Momo SRS wheel
*Titanium shift knob
*Twin Airbags
*Electric windows and mirrors, inc folding
*3 piece rear tints

the interior is stripped. No carpet, No rear seats, No rear interior plastics. I HAVE EVERYTHING... ALL OEM HONDA EK9 INTERIOR.....

the drivers seat is slightly grubby on the edge nearest to the door. after all it is 15 years old. This will come up loevely with a clean i simply haven't got round to it ( another eason i am selling due to not much time to spend on the car )


I can't think of anything else right now but will update the ad as i think.
car is HPI clear , have all documents that came with import and previsou M.O.Ts

please no stupid offers... I have been as honest as i can, if anything i have been overly honest so not to disapoint. At the end of the day for £3700 which leaves alot of room to make the car immaculate. these in good condition sell for north of £5500 :woot:

Hi im very intrested in this it seems to tick all the boxes, sounds like a lovely car and am looking forward to seing pics.

I know mate, I love it to bits but i feel i'm doing the EK9 world a favour... i simply can't afford to do what i want to this car, it sadens me but its got to be done for many reasons.

spudski - pretty much mate yeah, Love the fact its SO clean, and many reasons really..
cheaper to run and tax and insure :woot: . and also after owning quite a few black EK's now i still love them but fancy a change. i get itchy feet very quick lol.
 
Speak to Asif man, last time i spoke to him he said that he misses it loads, he might want it back....

For anyone interested in this car, i can confirm it pulls like a train! Once you've been out in it, you wont be able to stop smiling...
 
Shame this is back up for sale. As Chris mentions it has a few cosmetic issues but mechanically it is spot on. Also pulls really well & uses so little oil. Also gearbox oil was changed every 3-5K with amsoil MTF when I had it. Glws
 
Yeah you are right asif.

the speedo is in KPH and it read's 193,XXX so thats 120,000 miles or thereabouts..

don't be put off by this it pulls very hard and the engine does not show signs that its this mileage. its a smooth as one of my VTI's i sold and that had 55,000 miles :woot:
