Hi all i am sure this has been asked before but wanted some advice on what size wheels to buy for my ej9.
I am planning coilovers in the future so will be lowering it.
Performance is not a big issue so its more the aesthetics.
I am thinking of buying some GT3s in black with silver lip so would also interested in any pics of both sizes when fitted.
Thanks
Suzanne

If your not bothered by performance then I would go for the 16s

This, or if you want much cheaper tyre prices, better ride quality (using a 50 profile as opposed to a 45 on a 16), and better performance, 15 is the better option. All IMO.

I agree. Also think too many cars have stupidly big wheels nowadays & I quite like the look of 15's on the 9. Definitely wouldn't go bigger than 16's that's for sure.

Just curious if there is a big difference in performance betweene 195/50/15 and lets say 205/45/16(except start up).

if you want a clean look on 16's go with 205/40/16 . They don't rub, well we dunk our cars here in California..They also feel greatwith good Coilovers..IMO

My car is on 195/55/15 and thats with eibach springs normal shocks. IMO its quite good round london even on the bumps..

my old civic - 16" rota gt3's

GT3's look good in 16" after all Gt3's are made for aesthetics so it makes sense :D

I think I may have to go up to 16 to clear my breaks. But out of choice I'd stay 15's. I don't think 16's would handle too differently tho. But as always it's a personal choice.

16" fill the arches better, little slower acceleration but if you turbo your car then 16" are better!! XP
