can someone please post a link to a company that does this please thanks :)

If your meaning the NCB accelerator deal , Admiral to them . Had one on my first car

What doesthat do mate and how do you get one isthere any specific thing you need to get one if you know what I mean

Yes admiral do them. Not too sure what other companies do them. I've had one before. All it does is give you a years ncb in 10 months. Don't think you need to have anything to get them. Only really have big benefits if have little or no ncb and are young. Save you money in the long run.

Alright mate I've got 3 year no claims jus want a few more abit quicker lol how do you do it on admiral when I go on it only has the 12 month one

I think its on the last page where you get given your quote. After you have entered all your details. Where you can alter the excess etc. Should be an option to make it a 10 month policy. Although i'm not too sure if they will give you one if you already have 3 years ncb. Not to sure on that though

Ok mate will try that now bud thanks

Or on the flip side could end up costing you an arm and a leg when your next insurer refuses to accept your NCB as it has not been earnt over a full 12 month period.

I've heard this before, but never had any trouble myself with it. Is it a common thing to happen?? Probably best to stick with the same company for renewal to prevent anything like this happening

what if i swapped from admiral to bell (sister companies)
ive already lost 1 NCB because directline are dicks. and now im near on 2 years ncb with admiral. but ive looked and the cheapest ive seen for my next car is with bell

That is a big reason why some companies offer it, as they know that not a lot of insurers recognise it.. therefore you are tied into the same company for the next policy.

doesn't bother me that much cause nobody else would insure me ahaha but thats a bit underhand

I'm with Admiral now and the renewal form only shows NCD as full years rather than "X years NCD on 10month policy" so shouldn't be any issues tbh

Also bell.co.uk does it. That's who I am with, when I renewed it said that I had 1 years NCB and nothing about x amount of months or bonus accelerator.

i hate all these insurance companies, just try and steal your money

I appreciate that but insurers quote often (verbally) check NCB with the prvious insurer, one call would reveal all..

Thanks for the info. I have always thought this as well but I haven't changed my insurance company yet so I don't know.

I assume that Sky doesn't accept this as a NCB then?
