So I have a 1996 civic CX hatchback (D16y7) i just replaced the motor mounts and in the process i disconnect the heater core hoses. When I disconnect the hoses i bent one of the outlets a little from the heater core. Didnt think much of it. But now very thing is back together and running great...

so pretty much any part i need for the engine is the same as the b18c?

ill be buying my b16b soon, and i need to know if the timing belt, water pump, oil pump, and clutch and flywheel are the same as the b18c integra type r engine. im in Maryland and u cant get parts for the "b16b" here... Please let me know soon as possible. thanks

lol i just pulled my motor out with the linkage on it, couldnt get the "bitch" pin out from under the car..

I have a 1996 cx and im currently swaping a b16b in. what color do u guys think i should paint the car Nighthawk Black Pearl, or Flamenco Black Pearl.

will the b16b axles fit a 1996 cx ej6 hatch 4 lug? also what water pump does the b16b use?

Dont use ebay. you'd have to be crazy to by an engine from there. since your in jersey go with Hmotorsonline.com They are Number 1 when it some to selecting and buy honda engines. there Custumer service is great. They know everything there is to know about honda engines. and ALL there engine...

So go forth and drop that b16b in now and do the paint later down the road.

Should i paint the car before doing the engine swap and suspention work? Or paint after the swap and suspention?

so if i get the 97-98 motor all i should need to do is mod the d16y7 harness alittle and it should be fine with no cel?

ya thats the problem i been having i can find anything on step by step. i know my car is obd2 will the ecu that comes with the b16b is odb 2 aswell and will my d16y7 harness fit the ecu?

is there any diagram or step by step guide to do this?

I am buying a JDM b16b from Hmotorsonline.com and it includes the b16b wiring harness i putting it in a USMD 1996 CX hatch, my question is what modification will i need to make it fit the LHD hatch, the engine in right now is D16y7.
