Hey, My 1992 EG hatch with a newly rebuilt B16B started this week to make a high pitched noise at low speed, specifically at 5-40 km/h. and goes away when I go faster and slower than that. It does not go away when I press the brakes and I have taken a look at the brakes and everything is fine...

We haven't had any problems like this ever in Iceland, this motor that I have is the only B16B in Iceland so they don't even have a parts catalogue og EPC about the car. I work in the spare parts there and if I have to order parts for the engine I have to use the ultimate parts listed here on...

This is really frustrating, I have to change gears in 8700-9000 rpms, if I don't do that it goes out of vtec range.

It has a stock ECU, The only thing I find strange with the engine is that it has no rev limiter, it stays in the same revs 9000 and doesn't cut on/off. If you know what I mean. That only leaves me checking the solenoid. How can I see if it is dirty?

Hi, I don't know if you know what could be wrong, but the Vtec on my B16B kicks in at 6400-6500 rpm but not 6000 rpm. The oil is good. Do you have any idea what this could be?

anybody? is it true that the lift is less on the ITR cam?

some guys here in Iceland were telling me that I could see improvements in using 100 octane fuel for my B16B. the problem that I see in that, is that it has lead in it :O won't that be unhealthy for my engine and could possibly do something bad to it? What can happen if I use leaded fuel in a B16B?

Its in a EG body and I didn't get the stock filter and box, so I had to improvise :/ but I'm thinking about skipping the filter and put a hose into the intake just like the stock thing :)

Hi There, I have an EG Civic that had a D16Z6 in it and I'm fitting a B16B. The car is left hand drive and the Engine harness I got is for right hand drive. I was wondering if you knew if I can use a DC2 (B18C6) engine harness with no problems or if I have to rewire the whole B16B...
