I bought myself a New double cone K&N filter and a valve cover filter and I put oil in the cover filter
I think I put a little bit too much, so I waited a full day for it to dry up a bit.

The next day I started the car and and took it for a spin. It was only for about 10-15 minutes. and when I came back there was a funny smell in the car and smoke coming from the engine bay. When I take a look at it I see that there is engine oil on intake manifold and everything on the back of the engine covered in oil.

Do you think its the valve cover seal or anything else?
If its the seal, is there anything else I need to do than to change the seal and add oil to the motor?

:please:

Take your new valve cover filter off and put everything back to how it was prior, stock.
And clean up all that oil you just deposited all over your engine bay and roads. lol

Its in a EG body and I didn't get the stock filter and box, so I had to improvise :/ but I'm thinking about skipping the filter and put a hose into the intake just like the stock thing :)
