i didnt tighten them to torque spec, i snapped one bolt yesterday, so scared i will snap another one again. but how many seals are there?! the only ones i could think of is the o ring, and the one inside the dizzy shaft

hi everyone, there is a bad oil leak between the dizzy and the head(D15B). originally it was dripping thru the drain hole at the bottom of the dizzy, so i suspected its the seal that has gone, so i bought another Dizzy, and same thing happen again the new dizzy didnt drip at idle right after...

hmm......i searched google?! just put "1.4 civic spark plugs", and sure u will find something?! i am not sure if this apply to ek as well, on the eg, the OEM spark plugs parts number are on the timing belt top cover. OEM uses NGK. just go into any decent motor shops, give them your reg or parts...

OEM plugs should be ngk BKR5E-11 I believe. they are just used for indicating different engine code. Ie. 1.4=ej9. 1.5=ek3. 1.6 twin cam =ek4/9(type r). So yours would be an ej9

rear strut brace, do u mean boot brace?! i used to have one in my car and previous owner said its a ek9 boot brace, very rare he said

ALL EK/EG/EJ shape civic has the same spring fitment, just different spring rate. so if u r fitting a EG spring on a EK, the height might be lower due to the fact that EG is lighter than EK.

ok guys, found out the problem now, towed it down to the mechanic place today, 2 hours later, they called me saying that the cam gear is actually 180 degree out. they swapped #2 & #3 plugs, and it runs fine now. the plan is i am prob. taking the car back to my house to redo the timing belt, but...

tbh, i personally think arbs, front upper strut, suspension are the main components to improve handling. i doubt u will see much more differences with the other bar(such as the rear lower tie bar n c-pillar brace)

obd1 P08 off the 92 del sol. there was an aftermarket immoblizer in the del sol, do u think the ecu is immoblized?!

not yet, coz i was on my own today. i am towing it down to the mechanic place tmr to do a compression test as well. and while i am there, i will ask them to give me a hand to adjust the ignition timing

just re-do the timing belt this morning, pretty sure everything line up fine now. both at TDC, but car still dun start........it seems to crank stonger tho. could it be bad ignition coil?! coz i remembered the day i took the engine off, the engine didnt start. exactly the same situation as this...

updates: i just double checking the timing, when the crank pulley is at TDC using the #1 piston method, the cam gear is about one tooth off, sure it wont make it a non starter?! will check the ignition timing later when my friend come to help me out.
