Mailed hardrace UK about the 'Ver. 2' no response...
Been finding it really difficult to decide as no kit seem's to tick all boxes from in depth research from both US & Europe, They need to withstand some track use as well as road use:
Hardrace:
Pro's: Strength of design, ball joint boot robustness, Proper M8 hex bolts.
Con's: Virtually straight connecting arms restrict clearance of shock tower heavily, Have to be adjusted from top which can be difficult.
Skunk 2 Pro-series:
Pro's: Design is similar to OEM to allow for clearance, Adjust camber from bottom, Ball joint has a plate on top sandwiching the camber arm in aim to prevent slippage.
Con's: Ball joints seem to wear out pretty quickly in some cases due to poor amount of grease on joint/boot design, M6 Allen bolts don't appear to be too tough.
I feel some new 12.9 grade bolts (Personal peace of mind), OEM rubber boot & extra grease in the joint and these could be a winner.
SPC adjustable camber joints:
Pro's: Utilise tried & tested OEM arm, Single large bolt on top, Reputable suspension company - Good quality joints.
Con's: Clearance can be issue due to the height of the setup, Camber adjustment can be limited.
On a side note, Anyone used the SPC design? I can't seem to find a orginal set of the complete cast alloy arms as they have discontinued for a few years now
(.
***I completely understand I have not personally used either of these products myself and I am not out to slate any products as there are no product out there that is perfect in my opinion.
Any further input/thoughts are appreciated, Also a pic of my car is attached any as a reference to what height I run the car at in regards to potential clearance issues:
Cheers guys!
