Its with upmost regret I'm advertising my EK9 for sale. The cars been with me for nearly two and a half years having spent the rest of its time in Japan. It was imported by Duncan at FastJapCars and after visiting various importers and viewing plenty of other EK9's this was definitely the right one for me and Duncan's expertise really cannot be faulted!
I am the first and only UK owner of this vehicle and have spent ££££'s modifying it to the perfect spec for myself, however I'm not getting any younger and the property ladder is calling my name so the car needs to make way to realise the dream of having my own place.

The car itself is a 1998 registered vehicle originally supplied on an R plate but I have since changed to a private Registration plate which WILL NOT be included with the sale. The car had the clocks converted by Duncan on importation and has now covered 120k which may seem alot but on a 13 year old car is well below average and there are no signs the car is that old or has covered that milage!

The engine itself is perfect and has been well looked after by myself and it would seem the previous Japanese owners as it starts on the button, V-Tec is as strong as ever (although it rarely see's over 4krpm due to my commute.) I have kept the engine serviced myself every 3k with a genuine Hamp filter and Castrol 5 40w oil. The car burns very little oil unlike some B16's I know of which is also testament to the health of the engine. The car was also dyno'd and made a strong 200.1 bhp which seems a little optimistic due to the dyno but compared against other results from the day reflects that the engine is as strong as ever and I will be more than happy to show you the graph.

The gearbox is as good as new and has no crunches going into gear. The differential also works exactly how it should and you really notice this when using the car to its potential. I have also recently renewed all the front wheel bearings, CV joints and boots for peace of mind after one of the wheel bearings developed a small rumble. This was done using all genuine Honda parts and I can tell you was not cheap!

The shell itself is also extremely clean, not only is it the rare SBP colour but its probably the cleanest one I've ever seen and have had many comments reflecting this from other EK9 owners and Honda enthusiasts!
It was fully wax oiled by myself when I first purchased the car and was re-done again last winter to ensure the glorious UK weather didn't affect the underside. I have also had the rear arches professionally rolled, painted and sealed. The front bumper was also recently painted to get rid of any stone chips that had appeared.

Inside the car is as you'd expect, also immaculate, all the carpets are still red (rather than pink like some I've seen) and there is still the original Honda floor mats in place.

As you're probably well aware from the photographs the car is modified, all be it tastefully and there really has been no expense spared here. I have always prided myself on using genuine and well researched parts. There isn't really a stone unturned as far as I'm concerned in making the car usable everyday and yet still more than capable of performing on track although I have unfortunately never got round to testing myself.
The car was also featured in Fast Car Magazine, at the time it had BBS split rims on it.

The spec of modifcations is:

Volk TE37 Bronze 15" alloys with Yokohama Parada Spec II 195/50/15 tyres.
BC racing BR Series Coilover : Type RH coilover suspension.
Genuine Spoon Carbon Wing Mirrors with blue tinted glass
Techno Pro Spirit ECU - Vtec engages at 5krpm and revs to 9.3krpm, also more torquey lower in the range
Buddyclub Spec II Catback Exhaust
SPD Baffled De-cat
Tegiwa Imports Kevlar Intake Elbow
HKS panel filter and cold air feed
NGK Performance ignition leads and NGK Iridium Spark Plugs
C-West Vented Fibreglass Bonnet
Memoryfab S68 Carbon Bucket Seats in red cloth
Scroth 3 point Harnesses
OMP Steering Wheel
Tegiwa gearstick extender
Alpine I-pod compatible headunit
Black Side repeaters
Regal Auto front tow strap

As well as the modifications I've replaced certain other parts of the car to make sure it was up to scratch such as brand new genuine Honda EK9 headlights.

I still have some of the standard parts for the car aswell including the wheels, the bonnet and the wing mirrors. I will include these in the sale as well as a pair of H&R 10mm hubcentric wheel spacers and Tegiwa Alex style spoiler tilt brackets.

The car comes with 11 months MOT and 5 months tax.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

I'm asking £5995 which I think is a flipping bargain considering what I've seen much tattier examples going for.

God this car is simply brilliant, I will say it's glad to see someone selling up and not breaking it, because there's some brilliant aftermarket parts on this.

Trying to get the G/F to give me the money to buy it, but she wont let me :(
