Thanks bud, I'll try make a video once I get a cam sorted :nice: first owner who had it in the UK changed it to a race wheel then when selling it put that wheel on instead. I think its an EK4 SIR steer wheel, I dont mind it.

OFT... just OFTTT!!!

Gimme ya engine ;)

Looks awesome man, need some vids of the exhaust :D
And get some pics of the engine dude, best bit of the car as well.

Went out for a bit of a drive today, up the A65 outside Skipton and then to Malham. Thought I'd stop and take some pics:

Cheers bud, ye there is some really good roads, although alot I went on were single track so a bit sketchy.

Lovely 9 dude and some good figures too, now track it lol

Thanks mate. Ye I definately want to have a go on a track with my EK9 :nice:

Just a little update.

My EK9 had the holes cut out to accomodate the fitment of a rear strut brace so I thought It would be rude not to get one.

I'd been searching for a while to find the right brace, I had in mind a Cusco rear brace to match the Front brace and coilovers I have but couldn't find one anywhere. Well now I have finally found one, I snapped it up straight away, thanks Dunx :nice:

It arrived:

Here are a few pics of it fit to my EK9:

Glad to see it's being looked after :)

Hi folks,

Been on the forum for a while now, my first Honda was a Civic EK4 VTI which introduced me to the Honda scene.

Recently purchased my EK9 as I have wanted one for years. I believe this car is well known on the forum as it has documented threads since it was imported. The previous owners were Dunsy & Godfridge. Now I own it and it lives in West Yorkshire :). Only one about around me as far as I know in this area.

Managed to go for the first run in it a few days ago but didn't give it alot of stick as needed a few bits doing. Went for a proper blast last night and today and absolutely LOVE it. I thought it would be better than the EK4 and would go well, it has exceeded my expectations on all levels, im so happy with it. It sounds amazing, has a slight bark/roar at 3k revs then quietens up to VTEC at 5.2k revs and all hell breaks loose, so raspy, it goes like fook, pulls like a train in every gear.

Here's the spec:

Things done so far:

Cleaned a few times
checked over underneath etc
Fit Front Recaros I had in my EK4 as these are in near mint condition
Fitted new steering rack balljoint as it was well worn
Fitted new steering rack boot
Front Tracking done
Fresh engine oil
Fresh oil filter
Spoon Resovoir covers

Future plans:

Tidy car up a bit more as I want it fair mint
Cusco rear strut brace
Takata Harnesses
Harness Bar

Im really happy as it is now though. understand its rare for an EK9 to have a Spoon stroker fitted by Spoon themselves over in Japan as it has the spoon plaque on the engine.

Any comments welcome :)

hi do you know if the spoon 1.8 kit is still available?
