My EK9 - Spoon Type One

Went out this evening with a few mates and had a go at taking some moving shots. Its harder than you'd think. Would of been easier with an SLR camera/lens. Was getting dark so had to edit the pics slightly.

Just a quick update. Went to my Dads unit today to sort the leaking tail-light problem especially with the weather getting worse. I thought this pic was pretty cool, EK9 cocking a leg getting into the unit, its about 30cm off the ground haha. Apexi N1 end can had a bit of Autosol the other day to give it a shine, not fully finished yet though.

Each to their own! I like them, think they look quite agressive on the car and not really any other EK's have them. Although I wern't aware Halfords sold Team Dynamics wheels lol! Or do you mean because Halfords sponsor Honda BTCC team and they run TD wheels?

Cheers bud. Ye Ive thought about the carbon bonnet but I kinda like the clean standard look. It already had the Cusco coilovers and Front brace & rear lower brace when I got it so thought I'd add the rear boot brace aswell to go with that theme, bit of variation :nice: I might go a different route when its off the road for winter though.

hahaha, i didnt fit the Team dynamics because i saw them in halfords one day.

They are one of the only 15" wheel that fits over the 300mm Brakes and ATR Calipers. mainting the 15" was important for me as when i used to track the car it always performed better on the 15s as opposed to the 16s i had before, and also tyres were cheaper haha. Function > Form

That photo reminds me of this one!

Its looking well mate, good show!

Wicked photos Dunsy! Thats one of the reasons why I havn't changed the wheels aswell and I don't want 16's. I think they look nice on the car aswell so never bothered me :).

Aye i'm definately keeping good care of it. Its getting garaged for winter aswell, going to do a few bits to it when its off the road :nice:

not sure if they still sell them. i saw them in there a few years ago, i thought, they look proper smart, the only nice wheels they sell, then i remembered which place i was standing in!

just my principals.

lol fair enough! Only thing I really buy from Halfords is Autoglym stuff as I get discount due to my cousin working there :nice:

Halfrauds has its uses with cleaning products! :p haha

Ek9's looking great, love those wheels! RWD shot ftw :p

If there good enough for touring cars there more good enough for anything else haha!

Realy nice 9 that but tbh I would lose the wheels never bin into halfords rims but realy nice 9 though

haha exactly, thats my philosophy on it! :))

Seems to be mixed opinions on them. Seems that the people that don't like them is just because Halfords stocked/use to stock them lol.

Yeah i wouldnt worry about people who think there a halfords wheel man, Halfords might have stocked them at one point but halfords also stock autoglymn...see what im saying? haha!

Decent Lightweight wheels with big brake clearance and well used in the racing world...and dont come with a "mad tyte JDM" price tag thank god.

Saying that, i did always want a Full set of SSR RF-pro firenze in 15" but could never find any at the time but there is a set for sale now! so good and they clear the brakes!
