My EK9 - Spoon Type One

too right it goes like fook :D great all the torque dont you think, all the time i would be driving around somewhere in 4th thinking im in 3rd just because of the pull haha. i never tried the centre caps on the alloys ever, c you put them on now looks cleaner, nice!

Ye it goes really well doesnt it :), it really suprises me, so torquey even out of VTEC. Ye I found the centre caps in the glove box so I thought I'd get them on and it looks better

First time I put fuel in to thrash about I didn't put a full tank in. Now I have just about done a full tank, from full to near empty, had just over 3 litres left, here's the results:

I'm really impressed by this, works out at 250 miles bearing in mind there were still 3 litres left. I worked it out at 30.7 mpg which I thinks awesome. Its not been driven slow either, VTEC'd every time used, this is more than I got out of my EK4 :nice:

good remap on there :)

managed nearly 300 miles to a tank when rarley using vtec throughout the hole tank full

Ye definately a good map. I dont think I could out in it without using VTEC atleast once

lovely ek9! how much different feel there is between ek9 and your last ek4??i always wonder.

Thank bud. Ye definately feel a big difference, it really suprised me. Feels more raw, kind of like a track car. Alot stiffer chassis, handles better and its alot quicker aswell. Even a standard EK9 over EK4 I believe there will be a big difference still. EK4 still definately a great car though :nice:

love the angle of your exhuast dude. looks mint and proper Jap style. :))

stunning mate i really mean that :) i remember seeing this for sale and was such a bargain at that price :)

really impressed with the mpg, my jordan was great on fuel even when there known to be quite pricey on the fuel

Cheers bud, it'll be at Knockhill on Sunday :). Ye it needs a few bits and bats doing but im really happy with it. Ye the mpg suprised me, didn't expect to get over 200 miles to a tank never mind 250 lol.

Bought some autoglym products a few weeks back. Decided to give my EK9 a clean and polish and take some pics this time:
