What do you hope to achieve in the next year? Is there anything you regret not doing this year and plan on doing it next year?

From another forum Im on we did this in 2013 and what we wanted to achieve in 2014 interesting to look back on what i did and didnt do haha

Didnt go to New York, Orr to trail finders end of Jan to book a trip to America.
Didnt go Skiing
Did go for yet another ring trip

For 2015 plan is to

Ring Trip end of April
3 weeks in Merrica looking to go November time
Cash work shares for a house deposit

2014:

Got new job
Wage rise
Properly started building the car
First holiday with the missus
Found out I was going to be an uncle

2015:

Plan to do my first trackday and a good few more.
Get a lot done to the car
Hopefully buy a daily driver
Start saving for my own place

Kinda regret not putting my car on track in 2014 but it wasn't ready so I think I made the right choice. other than that, pretty happy and looking forward to this year :nice:

Actually start the new engine
Go to the ring(hopefully x2)
Lap under 8mins at ring
Bring the car back under its own power from anywhere I take it.
Meet up with some more ek9ers on track!

2015
Start new job
Work hard
Make progress with the ek9
Meet more people from here
Enjoy another year of life and be grateful

Got married in Vegas (on 40th birthday hols)
Bought ek9 race car
Had it on track twice
Stripped ek9 race car because kn*b
Broke ek9 race car because grinder
Nearly finished building ek9 race car back to being an ek9 race car :drive:

Get car onto track (booked)
Racing in UK Time Attack (entered)
Don't bend it the first time out :)

Got my First Honda (dc2)
Sold My S15
Went To Amsterdam And prague to Trance events
Left My work Company after 6 years for a change in scenery

2015;
Send VZR In for Full underSeal and Preventive Rust Treament
Get a Dc5
Visit Iceland or Somewhere A bit Different
 
2014:

Done my first couple of track days in eg6
Nearly done 11's with h2b
Started ground up rebuild of my dc2
Left my cushy number of a job in Ireland to take on a new adventure in Canada

2015:

Finish my dc2 the way I have planned in my head
Bring it to the ring some time over the summer
Maybe do a track day or two with the eg6
Start skiing in Canada
Go to the states or Mexico on holiday
 
Be good to look back at this come 2016 to see if your lists have been hit.

Some people have had some amazing years and have great plans for this year.

I have just booked my ring trip april 28th to may 3rd
 
2014,

Left my jobs I was in for almost 10 years
Got a new job a bit further up the ladder with more money and tbh quite cushy
Daughter started school :)
Got married :)

2015,
Want to buy first house
Continue to modify the civic
Plenty of trackdays
Fingers crossed and ring trip
 
2014:
Turned 30 :(
Got engaged
Broke the ek9 :(
Bought an ep3
Got a transformers tattoo! :)

2015:
Turn 31 :( :(
Buy an FD2 :)
Work hard as fook
Beast the gym and get massive like Hafthor Bjornsson! Lol
Play my xbox one! :)

2016:
Get married! :) (sorry got too excited!)
 
2014:
20th birthday
Went back to college
Bought an EJ9
Sold my first car (Daihatsu Sirion), a Starlet, and my beloved EF :(
Went to the Geneva Motor Show and London

2015:
Pass my 2nd year in college and hopefully go into 3rd
Get the car on the road
Turn 21 :p
Attend some meets and meet new friends (Need the car to do this haha)
 
2014:
1st jan saw me living alone for the first time as a single mum, scary as hell!
Bought my lovely 9 <3
Had an epic year of track days and shows and met loads of new people through it. Safe to say it made a huge impact on my life this year with people
Started uni and managed to keep my job going which is awesome!
Moved into another new place which I love to bits
Decided to boost the 9...

2015:
Finish the 9 and get her out and about by April!
Hopefully go on a holiday
My son starts school! scary how quick it's gone :(
Keep juggling work and uni as I'm lucky to have both and enjoy them
Hopefully see in the new year not living on my own anymore :)
 
2014:
Got the grades I needed at uni to go onto the MEng course
Got a summer placement at a worldwide engineering company, ended up doing some amazing work on the Glasgow Queen Street Station and line to Edinburgh
Was allowed to keep both of my part time jobs in Edinburgh whilst I was away on my summer placement
Got a scholarship by previously mentioned company because of the work I did for them over summer so I now have a job waiting for me when I leave uni in a year and a half :)
Got a load more stuff done on the civic that I never thought I'd do, and resisted the temptation to break it
Went to 2 weddings where I met the people who were getting married through cars, thought that was pretty cool haha
Turned 21
Got an all expenses paid trip to Ghent/Brussels, Belgium from uni :)

2015:
Stay on course for a 1st at uni
Do another summer placement
Get the arches sorted on the civic
Enjoy myself, spent too much time in 2014 worrying about work/uni/money
Go on a proper holiday haha
 
2014
- Turned 31 and still played with my remote control car
- Successfully completed my placement and managed to get to my final year of Uni despite my aging brain lol
- Stripped down my old 9
- Sold my old 9 shell as it was a bit too rusty :(
- Got a new shell from Rambo, yay! :)
- Did a a lot of off roading in our Vitara

2015
- FINISH UNI!!!!!!
- Get a job (which with a bit of luck I already have)
- Build up my new 9 and get some track time
- Do more off roading and treat the Vit to some much needed TLC
- Buy an electric car as a daily
- Go somewhere cool where I haven't been before
 
2014- moaned and cried loads because I never got a chance to insure the civic and get it on track :(

2015- have civic insured and will be hitting the track soon :)

Ring Trip end of April - Done will probably be my last one until 2017

3 weeks in Merrica looking to go November time - Done! Went for 20 days to San Francisco, Yosemite, Sequoia, Death Valley, Vegas and finally New York. Main highlights were proposing to my girlfriend and driving a Nascar! Saw some amazing things!

Cash work shares for a house deposit - House hunting at the moment! Got our mortgage agreed in principle so just need to find the house now.

I like this idea!
So I started the new engine, then continued to break and rebuild until I got it right!!
Only got to the ring once, lots of issues including my driving meant sub 8 wasn't happening.
I have managed to bring the 9 back under its own power from everywhere!
Got on track with a few ek9ers at japfest2
