You have to respect this place!


All those old cars look so unsuited for the track, except for the porshes.
Also thought it was funny that the tiny cars and tight clothes made every driver look 6'4", and they would just fall out or roll out of their little cars like it was nothing? wooow
 
im hoping to do some track action this year but imo youve got to know your lims and the cars limits :)
 
There is crashes on that video Ive never even seen, how is this possible? I thought i'd seen them all!

Eugh Tell me about it. I find thats the biggest problem there, People in 911's and other much more expensive cars hate being over taken, its a fact you are miles faster in the corners but they refuse to just admit defeat and let you past.

excuse my language..... But here is an example of some guy in a porsche refusing to let me past,
everytime it gets straight he just boots it ahead again . I was fuming!!!!

haha dont get me started on people not letting you past, i only had a 1.4 so on a straight i was lacking badly but stupid subarus wouldnt let me past when i was sooo much faster in the bends.
overtook a few bmw's and other big engines cars.
now i got more power ill have more fun :D
love this place
 
You see so many vids of people on there good laps you forget bout these ones that didnt go as planned!be gutting to have that happen!!

that 70s vid is on repeat in the Cafe by the PS3s down there!! some of them were very lucky!!
 
Reallly doesnt seem worth it to me.. a long way to go when we have good circuits here :-/

besides, a lot of the drivers in the first video posted seem to be losing it due to the weight shifts coming over a crest into a slight curve. So I would argue thats complete driver error + unfamiliarity with the circuit.
 
LOL @ the hampers and lunchboxes and stuff flying out the windows in the 70's vid, all the holiday makers going around haha.

ill go to that ring if its near our place..you just have to do it one step at a time..master the ring and eventually yo'ull enjoy it... "rome wasn't build in a day"
 
Interesting video, would good to visit the track at some point. The Astra van in the first vid made me laugh! :)

i know that this place is legendary but really..... with at the hassle and expense i wouldnt touch it with a barge pole.
