Did I read rightly that this won't be a track car?
Looks awesome mate. Planning to make my front end like that when I finally get her running properly!

I've put some miles onto the s2k and I love it more every mile I add.

All the things I was after on the civic are already done to the s2k.
Suspension and ride are better than the hatchback, that was clear after the first 2 miles.
The engine torque is perfect, which always lagged in the B and K engines.

Some of the smaller things I like are the radiator cowling [sp?] Honda did a great job at this as well as taking advantage of the long nose of the s2000.

HID is damn nice to have as opposed to a retro fit or just dropping in HID into EK headlight covers.

Then there are all the noises; rear diff, transmission all the other new sounds I get in the drivers seat. The transmission being direct connection over rods and cables is very nice. Super stiff motor mounts add to the cabin music...

I really like everything about this RCrew S2000 setup, any Civic owner out there thinking about making a change to a S2000, I highly recommend it...It is Cherry! Granted, I have a more track ready setup as far as suspension goes, but even -- I would recommend.

On a different topic; the roll bar has arrived so the soft top will be coming out as well as the OEM roll bars, making way for this custom bar. Also going with a oil pan baffle.

Once the new AIM2 dash becomes available I will be converting over to KPro, much like my hatchback had, which should complete the car for me.

That is the update for now...Ciao

Excellent, good to see you are enjoying the car and its nice to have a change sometimes

indeed...

all of the comfort items I took out of the civics: PS, air conditioning, cruise control, radio... are all still in the S2000 and its still as quick as my civics as well as more nimble. Un-tapped potential.

i havent driven mine much yet but i dont think its as fast as my ek was and to get any power out the s you really have to rev it hard in vtec

thought i-vtec was better than F20 on that area
well in every aspect witch you think is better k or F series ?

Rev hard on all of them B/K and F to get anything out of them. I was running 255whp on the old K20S stock, that was a ton from a stock setup. This S2000 is also stock but the handling is by far superior over my old hatchback, which should translate to faster lap times over the hatchback even tho the hatchback had more power...

In every department really, not too much power and torque, like a corvette, its perfect for this rwd setup.

Not having the front wheels loaded with power is a nice change, steering wheel feedback and input are night and day difference from my past fwd honda's. Even with the EHPS, the feedback is excellent. [EHPS is another one of those projects I had planned for the civic, stock with S2000, anywho--.]

The J's rear wing, that thing is big, but it works! Without the wing it seems a tad jumpy, likes to step out. With it--solid, well planted.

Its a different type of performance driving over the fwd. I feel there is more potential in the S2000 stock, over the custom civics I've owned. Cant really compare the two, its just not a fair comparison. However, I do like the s2000 big time.

Very cool, you have to weather to take a nice picture of the car too :)
