I´ve got a set of DC2 seats with rails, and as expected, only 3 of 4 bolt holes line up. As far as I can figure out, the EK9 rails bolt up to both my EK4 and the DC2 seats. So I want some. Anyone?

Save yourself some money, just modify the 4th bolt hole a little and add a bigger spacer to compensate. I've had DC2 seat rails fitted onto my previous EK9 for over 4 years and never had any problems at all (once bolted down the seats are not moving anywhere).

I much prefer the seating position with the DC2 rails, as your a tiny bit lower, but not being stupidly low!

Have a look at some pictures to give you an idea.

I was not aware that the EK9 rails were higher than the DC2 ones. Seems i'll have to look into modifying the existing rails then. Thanks a lot for the input!

Just line up the DC2 seat rails and you will immediately see how much metal you will need to trim off (it won't be much to cut/file away).
Best to cut a little at a time and keep trial fitting them until you are happy :)

Yep, I'll do some testing there, and probably "reinforce" it with a big-ass washer as well. But I probably will have someone weld something on it as well, as I'd like to stay in the car if I crash. :D
Perhaps I could just have the washer welded to the rail.. hmm.. we'll see.
