can anyone help me i have a 98 spec b18c engine which i will be putting into my 1995 civic sir b16a motor would my existing eg6 loom mate wil the b18c motor or will i need to adapt it to fit. thanks

if you're b16a is factory that means it's 1995 which is obd1. your 98 spec motor is obd2a so yes it will have to be adapted to work.

when i did mine i had to convert the alternator plug, injector plugs, iacv and crank position sensor. not sure if your wiring will be the same but here's some links to US sites that may or may not be helpful to you. these sites helped me do my conversion from obd1 to obd2 as in my state we have what's called obd inspections

Best off to get a 98spec teg loom pretty sure it will plug straight up to your shock tower plugs. You have a seperate short harness on that car which goes to firewall mounted map sensor correct?

Not sure if you can use integra harness as it is a 2 piece harness. Unsure if the eg harness is 2 piece

Nevermind vtec6000 is correct you should be able to use a integra harness as both dc2 and eg6 have 2 piece harnesses
