After a hoon last night I noticed the familiar sound of shagged rear pads, must be the 4th time they've needed replacing in the 20 or so months I've owned the car. Since I seem to shred them so quickly, and they are only ever cheapo pattern parts, I am wondering if it might be beneficial to go for some DS2500 rears to match the fronts?

Will the braking performance be significantly improved, and more importantly, will they last longer?

Defo match the rear padswith the fronts it will make your fronts last allot longer,

when i was running type z pads on the front oplnly they only lasted 1 trackday,

now i run front and rear i have done 4 days at the nurburgring and about 8000 road miles and they are only 1/3rd worn,,

Yeah go for a set of DS2500 on the rear :nice:, i hear nothing but good things about thease pads all the time. Don't think there badly priced either.
