wont start :@@@@@@

ok mate check your plugs gap also make sure your car its not running too rich and if was the dyzzy it woulnt never star up when you dry the plugs

I'd say to spray easy start down the throttle body, will easily show what your problem is. :)

Starter motor perhaps? Before taking stuff apart just check battery, fuel etc...if it is starter motor just give it a good whack with a hammer and it should be fine. Nothing too lethal though.

Are you serious, give it a whack with a hammer??

You would know if the starter wasnt working as the engine would not be cranking.

This is not his problem anyway as the car was already running when it cut out so nothing to do with the starter

got it sorted, cleaned plugs, cleaned leads and away it went not sure what it was im guessing it was the fuel filter as it run ruff for a few seconds then cleared itself

Good to hear it was nothing serious. Sounds a bit odd, but I had a similar problem with a jeep after changing a filter for I didn't prime the pump enough at the time

There is a kill switch for fuel behind the glove box there is a button the top to reset it! Had the same problem!
