Wont rev past 3k??? *Vid Inside!*

Did a B16A2 swap into an EJ9. Took it out for a drive and it all drove fine. Then suddenly it all bogged down, the car was shaking aggresively. Then couldnt rev the car past 3k. Also struggled to get the car into gear aswell! Got a video of it because its hard to explain. The car idles horribly and the engine is really shaking around! any ideas what could be up?

 
Check the timing belt, were you driving it on when it happened? Sounds like the belt might have slipped a few teeth!
 
I didnt think about timing belt thanks! Was driving fine, i was driving round my village to make sure was all ok. Stopped went to pull away, took it to about 4k in first gear then it all went.
 
It could be dizzy related problem but i'd check engine timing to be safe.
 
This happens on my brothers civic and it was the fuel filter
 
Should i look into getting new internals for dizzy? I may aswell get new fuel filter then as they arent exactly expensive

its best to replace the internals on the dizzy for peace of mind mate as they are very common for going on the 9s
 
I got day off from work tomorrow so im gonna try and see if I can hear any knocks or anything coming from the engine.
 
My car was doing the samething, my cat was exploded, check you exhaust easy way is to un-bolt it from the header or right before the cat.
 
had this issue while back and it too was timing teeth that jumped a few notches
