Wiper blade arm removal

Hi guys,

I saw someone did this a while ago, removed the wiper blade arm and spoiler to respray it. I popped to Halfords and got some Satin black spray but can't find the right tool to remove the arms! Anyone know which one I need?

Need them off like this to spray!

thers a not underneath the little cap on de top where they attached to car open de nut an wiggle them off.they on splines so be patient can be awkward pull em off

There's a black nut at the bottom of both the arms attaching them to the car, but I can't get the right size spanner to go around it to loosen it, do you know what size it is?

dunnno off hand bein japcar id imagine 12mm or 14mm if its not use a vise grips!!

get more spanners then

i have taken them off but cant remember the size...as the man said though...its only a nut and then put them off but can be awkward due to the thread. make sure you do them up tight enough when they go back on though.

A socket set should do fine. Just remove the one nut then pull the arms straight off and up.
