is there anything that can cause knocking on D2 coilies ?

what would you call a drop link ? the bit that conects the anti roll bar to the lower wishbown ?sorry like i get messed up with french and english tech talk...
also it's defo play in the track rods...had it up on jack and there's play in there somwhere doesnt look like the track rod ends though looks like its the other side ... what can go wrong the other side ?

found out what this is though for me there is still play in the steering rack...
anyway i had to take the track rod ends out to notice this but the lower ball joint is kaput ...
