Who thinks this facelift civic is overpriced?

A friend of mine bought one almost identical with less mileage few months back for £700 so i'd say it was overpriced personally.

It is a bit . But its nothing compered to the prices of 1.4 civics in ireland an extra 1 or 2 hundred and youl get a vti or sir. People pay more for smaller engines now days " tree hugers" haha

Its been resprayed as it went milano pink so i guess it has that in its favour.
Ive just been looking for a clean shell with no rust, this one wouldve been perfect if it was about a 1k that would seem like a fair price considering this has been looked after.

My ek3 needs new engine mounts, rear wheel bearing and i need to tackle the rust sooner or later so i think my best option financially would just be to reshell as mine is getting quite ropey.

I think it's fine if the arches are good and there's generally minimal rust and overall condition is good, it's 2001 too. Hate when people bang on about these bargain car's there mates, cousins, brother got or the "theres one on gumtree for cheaper" which from experience are most of the time shed's. You get what you pay for in this world, usually.

Ye i think its a good price for it! looks clean! 2001 ek models are hard to find.. in ireland anyway!

Whats a decent site to find EK's? all i try is piston heads and autotrader.

Maybe a tad overpriced, but trader prices are normally a bit more than private sellers..

Sold my 2000 for £950 over a year ago. So I would say it is
Mine had the same mileage but had alloys and ek9 springs and shocks.

God dam hes put the price up 200 hundred pounds trying to get 1,795 for it what a greedy bastard ;p

He probably thinks if he jacks the price up a couple hundred quid then people will make offers for what he originally wanted lol.

this has actually been on autotrader for a long time now.. been looking as im also looking for an EJ9.. one thing to note about this though, dont forget this is an SE model, comes with ABS too which other models of EJ9's lack! :) It was £1500 a while back, if it wasn't Milano Red, I think I would have gone for it, not that theres something wrong with Milano Red, i'm just looking for a black one specifically and could do with a little wait. Not in a rush! It is overpriced though in my opinion especially since it has 99,000 miles.. If it had less mileage I would have paid £1400 or so for it.. MAYBE £1495(its original price as far as I remember) like i said, only if it had less mileage.
