i got two for the front yesterday as i read great reviews of them...
put them on headed for the roundabouts and i couldnt believe it!!
they are shite!! i am sickened they give up very easy!in the wet they are hopeless and in the dry they just about cut it but you have to be more precise with throttle control to keep the nose from pushing.
my verdict is disappionted and i WONT BUY AGAIN.
hanCOCK i call them.

best tyre ive ever had rs2s i love them!!! they feel great for me

far better than toyo tr1s,and yoks s drives

i have them on all coners of my itr, they wrk great on every 1 on itr forum rates them highly

i dont think they are so bad
i never tryed them so....
have you checked your tire pressure ?

30 psi, should be ok.i had r888s and they were amazing from the first min of driving.the bald re010s were near as good as these!

I have them and the grip is brillant, give them a week or so mine arnt that old and at start wernt as good as they are now.

The Toyo 888 is a track ready tyre, great from new/cold. RS2 needs bedding in, tbh if you think its going to work great from new then you need to think again.

Get them bedded in and try a higher psi, 34 psi, even once bedded in they need a touch warming imo, preferably four tyres rather than two before you make a judgement.

I have these, when i first got them they where quite poor until they bedded in (2-300 miles). I also set the psi to 35 and found them to be much better. I have to say that i think they are briliant in the dry, and the rear will break away long before the front tyres loose grip! In the wet however they are quite bad, with limited grip and a sudden breakaway of grip. I've almost been caught out a few times in the wet when breaking over diferent surfaces as the tyres just start sliding everywhere. They also have quitre a high wear rate, not as much as the 888's but still less than the average tyre. I view them as the opposite to the eagle F1's as they were amazing in the wet but were poor in the dry! Hope this helps!

I ran RS2 in 205/50/15 since september last year and i found them fantastic both on road or track!!!

did you get your alignment checked? you should always have this done after having new tyres fitted

Get the alignment checked then go out and try and get some miles on them

Also judging them by their roundabout taking capabilites is a bit stupid, go find some real corners ;)

My opinion on the RS2 is mediocre comparing with one of the best tyres i've driven on AD07s

In the dry if the weather and road surface is hot then it is almost similar to AD07 grip level, break away is also progressive again similar to AD07.

but then it all goes downhill apart from that, i don't really push it in the wet, but its progressive again not something scary.

In colder weather they are rubbish compared to driving when hot, grip is rubbish, after warming up a bit it is better but still doesn't offer the same grip level if the road surface is hot.

i'm comparing this to AD07, which warms up much quicker and more consistent with weather changes.

another point i don't like about the RS2 is, on track they wear out and overheat too quickly. you start sliding everywhere, you can cool them down but after a few laps they slid EVERYwhere again.

So in short i think they only work in a narrow condition, and i would call them good handling control tyres i guess.

^Thats the trouble, too many people compare them to really good tyres that are expensive, and like the AD07, now the AD08 - fairly impossible to get hold of.

Having also tried them on track (Brands with Tmus!), that day I ran pressures way to low, I tried them again twice at higher psi - much improved but no 888, but if you have only one set of rims for the first couple of track outings, they are capable.

For the road at £50 a corner they are very good - better than F1/T1S/Spec 2 etc. In colder weather I agree they need a touch more warming - this is a must with any tyre if you are going to apply the loud pedal!

I would like to try the AD08 or RE11 - might as well go look for rocking horse sh*t in UK, as even if you do find a set they will be ridiculously overpriced :D

I just got fitted a set of these in my EG6 and all can i said is that is an amazing tire. The car have now a great feel, very very sticky tire. Loads of grip on high speed driving when you want to change the corse.
I will buy them again and i highly recomend this tire.
Previous tires i run:
Bridgestone potenza RE 720
Bridgestone turanza ER 300
Yokohama A539
Yokohama parada spec-2
Toyo proxes T1-S
Toyo proxes T1-R
Toyo proxes PX4E

My favorites Hankook rs2 :)

Just IMO

thanks for all your input.i will rserve full judgement for another week, and ive tried tons of tyres,i just find this bedding in period odd, never really had this with any previous tyres.

Where did you get them? I am still waiting the Greek supplier to deliver me toyos R1R and i am pissed of waiting so long.
Are hankooks better than parada2?
Camskill doesn't have Rs2 yet.

IMO is a lot better than Parada spec 2, the walls are stiffer and the grip is better. Another diference is that parada's are very noisy hankook it isn't.

I get this set from a local shop it was 85€ each already with instalation and balance.

Hankook RS-2 :win:
TW - 200
Traction - AA
Temp - A
Speed - W

Yoko Parada S2
TW - 300
Traction - AA
Temp - A
Speed - V

Once again, is my own opinion, about tires is hard to talk because normaly each driver have a diferent opinion.
