Who is good for insurance at the age of 20?

Hey guys.

Basically my insurance is due for renewal soon so i need to start looking for insurance. Who would you recommend? I'm 20 years old if it helps, anyone my age with good quotes?

Sucks how insurance prices have went up! :angry2: Cheapest i found so far was an extra £500 on top of what i am paying now and i've almost got a years no claims plus thats with a family member :angry:

I checked Admiral and tried quotes online as i heard they are pretty good, it was double the price of my current insurance so guess i'll pass lol..
 
If you dont mind me asking, who are you with now? will be shopping around for my insurance at the end of the month!

Quotes vary from different insurance companies and the info you put in, where you park it, even your job title.
 
yeah as timmy says, I'm on sky, they really know their cars I was completely honest with them told them all my mods and they repaid that honesty with a fairly decent price =] guess they saw it as responsible. btw I only have 2 years no claims =]
 
I turned 21 a couple of weeks ago and was surprised how much my insurance went down so happy with the quotes I am receiving now :D but I have been with elephant since I was 20 and I had the best quotes with them so far!
 
blue sky is good or fresh air.... They all take the piss on insurance prices, give your details to claims agencies so that more people claim and give them the excuse to drive the prices further up! Its a god dam money racket. Plus i wouldnt be surprised if theres a taint of price fixing between them aswell! They should all be shot! (not literally but you know what i mean)
 
I would ring up companies if was you, i tend to find that they can suit the policy better for you and for me this way been ALOT cheaper than online quotes :)
 
im 21 with 0 no claims and just insured my 1.4 16v EJ9 for a shade over £2000 with TESCO BANK.
 
Mate try Tesco Car Value insurance they gave me the best quote on my jordan and im 19
 
Unfortunately not M!CHAEL..... cheapestr quotes above this with the likes of endsleigh are like 4000+
i live in a very bad UK Postcode.
 
i used to be with admerial then changed over to elephant as they were couple of hundred quid less per year even tho there the same company,still with them now as there the cheapest i can find
 
Im turning 17 in may and trying to get quotes of the Internet and there all over 2'000,is that right? And im trying to get insured with a family member, I think i just ring them up closer to may
 
It's a bad time to insure civics compared to before the credit crunch.
Especially if youve just passed and under 25.
 
I get insurance no bother at all but I dont know how! 21 with 3 years no claims and im £642 for my ek9
