Which intake sounds the loudest?


im not too bothered about performance as its a 1.6 and far from a race car. but i want my car too like nice aswell. im not buying cheap ebay gash though lol

hmmmm dont know about that my v2 performs very well on my 9 :)
 
a v2 for a civic 96-00 vti wil fit my coupe yeah? as there is nothing on funky power for the coupe just the hatch
 
How about dont bother goin for the loudest one and go for the one with best throttle response and power gains :p, but if u really want noise, yes the top fuel aem v2 and j's are ur choices....
 
i like the look of the v2. im going to order next week. is funky powers site sorted so i can use the spare money in my paypal account? i cant wait to get an exhaust on it next probably after i lower it as the standard looks gay lol:p
 
i have a j's and so does my mate, and in vtec its just very loud but i'd like to hear a vid of the v2 if anyone got?

my mate (ramboteamjon) has one aswell and it sounds good. just takes up too much engine bay space for my liking. id like to be able to work round it lol

How is running no filter better than a cone filter attached to the throttle body?

I tested a cheap cone filter off ebay, attached it directly to the throttle body, yes it was slower due to heatsoak, yes it sounded amazing, but again - how is running no filter better than this?

Stock (or dc2) airbox is my preferred setup, with a nice exhaust.
 
ITB is the loudest. Anything with just bare pipe and filter (short ram intake) is loud.

When I remove the lid off the Ice box, things start to sound pretty serious, it transforms to a SRI. But I keep the lid on for the street.
 
j's is very loud !!
the loudest i've ever heard !!

but performance is that you should consider looks and sound is for car shows...
