Where to buy flywheel cover/protector plate?

Hello ya'll!

I had to remove the plate that's attatched to the side/bottom of the gearbox today that covers and protects the bottom of the flywheel etc

I was told you can buy just a slim line ally plate to put in place of the OEM unit.

Anyone ever seen these before as i need to buy one cos im currently running without it and don't know where to buy.

The b16a have a slimline plate, will bolt up fine to a 98spec ITR box as I used one on my own
 
Oh really? cool i'll try that. Thanks mate

I guess they're slimmer than the normal 98 spec box plate? just to make sure :)

Yeah they are, your current one is cast and comes up to meet sump iirc?
 
Yes mate..goes right up under sump. Trying to find pics of a B16a one but cant find anything..
 
Oh..just just answered my question before i asked it lol.

So that bolts up in the exact same place as my original one yea?

well my engine was a b16a but gearbox 98spec ITR but I can't see any reason this wont fit any b series engine...
 
Well my cover was held on by two 17mm bolts and three 12mm

Was is the same for you? I'm guessing as your using the same box as me it must be the same..

Yep exact same mate:nice: I'd be 99.99%sure it will fit with no problems:D
