When to renew

Probs a daft question but just got my renewal through an email and not to happy with it went And looked online and found a quote for £704 alot cheaper than my renewal! But my insurance doesn't run out till the 18th of next month so when should I take the new policy now or wait till its nearer the time as I could be cheaper?

Insurance can go up or down all the time depending on how much they have had to pay out ect, so you can never really know if its going to be the same in a months time. If your happy with £704 then you can buy it now but ask to have it started as soon as your old policy ends.

I think you would normally pay them on the date if paying monthly or a couple days prior if a single payment. So you can take the policy out now and not pay till the date.

Always phone the company, online quotes are never accurate and always miss important details.

Most companies will save the quote for a certain amount of time, it will vary. Best thing is to call them closer to time if your still happy with the price and give them the quote number, do another quote just before you take the policy out just to check if the price has gone down or not.
