When strangers make you smile

Hi
Well must say the past few weeks it's happened loads I always like to keep my 9 clean

But it really does cheer me up when strangers appreciate my civic
The other day going back to a car park a man with his wife said . Is that yours was just going to say it's well nice good condition

Then today at a shopping centre in York a random lad came up to me asked if he could take a pic and said how awesome ek9s are

You just wouldn't get this in a ep3 or newer car it really makes me smile
 
Yeah get this a lot with the ef, mostly by older people haha :D
 
I got this a while back. Some fella was going on for about 10 mins about how clean it was for a 14 year old car and said you could sell that for good money any day. I couldn't stop smiling :)
 
Lol, theres a kid where i work thinks my car is quote "pure rapid man!" him and all his little pals love it! Bear in mind there all about 18 and are still waiting on pubic hair to come thru,

But your right it is nice to have some appreciate your hard work :)
 
Had my car at the garage and when i went to pick it up the manager told me that he had some guy ring up and ask about my 9 as he had seen it up on the ramps when he had driven past. :D
 
I get this with school kids funnily enough. One time I parked up outside a shop when the schools where out; came back with around 5-6 kid's taking pictures :lol:

A few old people in the Asda car park also, makes me glad I own a Nine/Older Honda. :nice:
 
Ausome I used to get the same in my ek as it was similar to a 9 but now I have a sleeper mb6 lol
 
i had it last night, i popped into the newsagents to get some smokes and i could hear the kids out side saying "wow what a cool car" then when the turbo timer turned off i heard "that cars magic it turned its self off with out the driver":wow:
 
I get it a lot also. My facelift ek9 got ridculous amounts off attention for how clean it was, makes me think my polish addiction has paid off lol.
 
It made myself smile when I had my ej9, so sad to have parted ways with it now :/

Might be back in one sooner or later :O
 
People get amazed on track at how **** my car looks but I have still passed them with my b16a
 
I used to get a lot of comments when i had the DC2 some kids would even shout "show me vtec!" :D
 
I had someone comment on the great condition of my car with it being an "A" Reg

Think he mistook my private plate A9HYC as the cars age :/
 
I just had my Evo 7 re mapped, drove back through the dartford tunnel and gave it some beans..... as I exited the tunnel the passenger in the car next to me was frantically waving their hands at me.... wound my window down and she said "do you realise, there are large flames shooting out the back of your car"..... I couldn't stop smiling the whole way home lol.
 
i like when i cruise on satardays and sundays... when i pass outside of the cafe area everybody stops and stares and when i pass outside the clubs everybody run to my window and they say how cool clean and shiny it is and that if i ever sell it they want it
!!!!! this makes me proud!!
 
I get people at petrol stations staring at the fact it takes about half an hour to put my takata harness on.....Don't know if that means the like it/me? Haha
 
Ahh it does make me smile when this happens. I've also had kids walking past and punching their mates after shouting 'yellow car' lol.
