gday ladies and gents

i've just rescently purchased a full set of 4 bridgestone RE002's

currently mounted on white TE37's 16x7 +42 205-45-16

got the car aligned and air pressure from shop was 38

when i first drove it in the afternoon from the shop heading home, the steering was VERY light, car felt really wobbly and i didnt feel comfortable going into and out a corner (even roundabouts, felt very weird, as i was used to my old tyres running 30psi front and 32 psi rear)

i've attached a picture of my before and after values of my alignment settings,

can someone advise me if the settings are currently fine or is it just plain wrong? the tyre fitters used the settings from a EK civic hatch Vti (SOHC VTEC) but i have an EK9, should the values be any different?

something isnt right, currently deflated the tyres to 32 front and 34 rears

someone please help or shed some light

To start with the tyres are new , so give them a while to scrub in !

Any pressure around 30-34psi should be fine... have you driven the car after you deflated them ?

I assume you are on standard suspension ?

Only thing that looks a bit abnormal there is your front castor difference is over 1deg.

You may want to check over the front ball joints on the front left and everything else TBH incase they missed a worn bush etc

I'll look into right away, front left is the wheel beating I did a few months back, it's not making any noise or anything but I'll have a look again

okay guys, lowered the tyre pressure down again to around 32-32 all round, still weird, rear seems really flaily and wobbly, what could it be?

before the tyre change it was fine, after the RE002's installed went all weird!

I would get that rear Tow set to about 0mm as + or - tow at the back can make them feel unstable at speed but "turn in" should feel ok.

Rear toe in will stabilize the rear at higher speeds , 0 rear toe would be too aggressive on standard suspension as there is a lot more compression in the spring/damper !

Again IMO on standard suspension fast road Id go for

Front : 0 toe
Rear : 1~2mm total toe in

OK I stand corrected.

Does anyone know what the factory setting are for a ek9? failing that what's the settings for a UKDM DC2?
