Hi guys

Me and my mate(mld22) off the forum are looking to get engine torque dampners but have been looking around and the price vary!

Is there any such thing as a good and bad torque dampner?

If so what a good/fair priced one to go for?

cheers

whichever one you get make sure your engine mounts are in as new condition before fitting, or youll just move teh problem from one place to another,

if i were u i would stay away fr j's racing. mine cracked within 6 mths, bought it brand new then.

Spoon have never really got bad review one ofthe more expensive options thou

I have an NRG engine damper you can have for £45 its brand new ( about 8 months old )
i bought it for my EK4 but now i have an EG6 and it doesn't fit, it has never been fitted to anything.
it comes with 4 different bushes to use so you can make it hard or soft. i bought NRG as i could not believe how much spoon would charge for theirs and thought how can there be inferior engineering in something so simple as this. i cannot fault the qaulity. however i have not fitted it to test it but i'm sure it'll be fine.
It is silver, i'm sure if you type in NRG tourque damper in google it'll bring up a picture.
it fits ek4 so i'm sure ek9 is no different. oh yeah it was for a 1997 reg EK4 so will fit 1996 - 1998 ek9 i believe.
if anyone knows if it will fit please help out.

get back to me mate.
