For the nice sunny weather we have had past few days just wondering what people been up to with there cars ??

i washed
polished
waxed
and hovered my car then fitted my sub :)

Gauges in and working.
Front droplinks and ARB bushes swapped over.
Some ds2500 pads on order to try instead of these yellow stuffs also. :)

I gave mine a wash and quick wet polish on the outside then gave the inside a hoover and polish and sprayed some auto gym outdoor remover to freshen it up (much prefer this stuff to an air freshner).

Plan to give the engine bay a good clean in the next few weeks, waiting on my strut being painted along with a new cam cover which should help a lot along with a few little dress up parts. :D

It's just a spray mate you can spray it directly on to any material type stuff in the car like seats and carpets, it depends on how long it lasts but I sprayed mine two weeks ago and my mate got in the car the other day (before I sprayed it again) and he said it was like getting in a new car with the smell :nice:

It's not something I have done properly before, gave it a quick clean the other week with some engine degreaser and it's a lot easier than I expected, but going to replace some parts and while these are off it should be easier to get into some harder to reach areas and should come up better. Will take a while and a bit of elbow grease but should be worth it in the end. I hope lol

I got my new jeep detailed but i must get the 9 done now soon before the weather goes :D

The best degreaser i have ever used is the yellow stuff you get in hotel kitchens or restraunts a swear to god you spray it on and you can watch the oil n slime dripping off infront of you the kitchens use it for extractor fans and canopys where it builds up with thick grease

Yeah it's good mate especially if you don't like the air freshners, I usually buy my auto glum stuff from halfords when its on three for two! Makes it a bit cheaper that way.

Sounds like strong stuff then! Not sure I would be comfortable using something that strong on my engine bay but then I probably wouldn't use anything that's not specifically made for car cleaning as my sister had used other house hold cleaning products for the interior etc and it ruins the car!

It is really strong I always dilute it and don't do any damage I wouldn't put it near paint work though to scared to lol

I would like to have washed mine so I could see out of the windows and maybe taken the hardtop off, but instead been nursing a poorly child. :(

I know the feeling but mines is bodywork first some boy on a bike next some one reversed into me a think not sure finnished work nd found a dirty big dent n scrape

I put mine through a car wash and got it seriously sideways on some b roads...
