So I'm getting my 9 pretty soon. Just wondering what I should get done in regards to servicing the car once its over here.

Should I go to a main Honda garage?

Should I underseal the car?

How much should these cost?

Dont quote me on this but ive heard that main dealers wont touch import cars! something to do eith a contrace between them and Honda UK?!?!?!
So a local honda dealer told me, or maybe he was jst bein retarded lol.

Sounds like dealer bulls^%t to me mate.
Mine did a full service on mine & changed the cambelt - no questions asked :)

Sounds abit strange alright.

Give them a ring tomorrow and see what they quote me.

Can someone list out the things I should get done.

Everytime i buy a new (used) car i immedietly change oils, all filters, spark plugs, valve clearance adjustment, change all belts (timing,A/C,HSW, etc), cabin air filter and if necessary engine mounts. Some might say i over react, but i cant` be sure about the previews owner`s servicing habits.... About underseal, here it`s not common in the mainland, but if i lived in an island i`d definetely do it!!!!!:drive:

Wow big pricey list right there!

Yeah I live in Ireland so I think I'll have to look into it.

Alright mate!

I dont get any problem with the main dealer! they say they can get any part in 4 the ek9 within 3 to 5 days! if you give them your chase no every part no comes up on the computer!

They have got special deal on at the moment the change the cambelt and check your brakes and change your brake fluid 4 £200! that's quite cheap because i was quoted between £300 to £470 to change the cambelt with the local garages! i dont know if it the same at all main dealers! mines booked in on Friday!

I won't have the car for another few weeks but I'll ring them and see what they say.
