been meaning to take this off my intake manifold for ages but kept forgetting, it came from japan with this on?!
I thot my manifold was cracked and had been patched with this!
it had this hard powdery stuff wrapped in some copper tape and had rubber over it and was cable tied 2 my intake. weird one.........:angry:

hummm, a place to warm up some food maybe, now the food is carbon?

...could also be a weird way to smuggle something in or out of a country? Maybe?
 
It really could have been a homemade heatsink...can not figure what else it could have been used for...especially in that location.

Dispose of it properly; seal it up and landfill that bad boy!
 
Yes the intakes are aluminium, I know it was a random question but it's looks like one of those magnetising fuel saver cons! But in the complete wrong place! ??? I don't know???
 
looks like a basic heat sink, black stuff could be some sort of charcol or copperoxide???
 
maybe a couple of bacon strips ment to be eaten but forgotten on the intake, but you could still rub em on your toast you never know....:D
 
i think those are the ashes from the previous owner that love his car so much that as the last will he wanted to be together with his beloved honda.
 
if that was cocaine or something, the people following you must be off their face, haha
